Harry Kane remains determined to leave Tottenham Hotspur, but even with interest hotting up, a move does not look any closer.

Manchester City were reported to have lodged an opening offer for the England captain, but that has been denied by both parties.

The interest in Kane is genuine but City are showing few signs of getting anywhere near the valuation of the player.

Tottenham supremo Daniel Levy wants £150million at the very least before even thinking about a deal.

But it is understood Manchester City are not willing to go over £100million – which makes a deal look very difficult.

One team who could afford to broker a deal is Paris Saint-Germain and it is understood Kane is very much on their list of summer targets, particularly if Kylian Mbappe leaves.

What is certain, is that Kane wants to depart and he is understood to be less than happy with how Spurs have dealt with their current manager search – one that is still ongoing.

Planet Sport spoke exclusively to BoyleSports for their views on Kane, and they admitted that while City remain favourites, they have cut the odds on him staying at Tottenham.

BoyleSports spokesman Lawrence Lyons told us: “Whether or not it’s posturing from Daniel Levy this week remains to be seen, but the money in the last day or so suggests doubt over Harry Kane getting his desired move.

We’ve had to clip him into 6/5 from 6/4 to stay at Spurs and with Manchester City’s chances beginning to drift for the first time, the transfer looks on a knife edge.”
